Perfect stay for self catering holiday!
The property is second storey up so not too many stairs. Sleeps 5 so would be great for a family. It was good to have somewhere we could cook for ourselves and wash clothes. Everything we needed was here. Location is great, 12 minute walk to train station, central markets to buy fresh fruits and vege and meat. 10 minutes to loads of museums and shopping. Some great local knowledge passed on by the lovely lady who checked us in, particularly about the Sunday markets where we were able to buy locally produced fruit, vege, craft, honey and breakfast with the locals. Quiet even though there are a number of busy restaurants and bars around. windows are double glazed which made for a quiet apartment. Florence is so easy to get around. we didn't t have a car so parking wasn't an issue. Having wifi to catch up on news and emails from home was good. There is a great shop just a few doors up, run by an elderly gentleman who has a great selection of everything you need for lunches and dinners. A supermarket that had everything else we needed just arount the corner.
